Gear changes are achieved simply by reversing the direction of rotation, just like a standard winch. The system automatically returns to first gear when the load is released, ensuring smooth, intuitive operation during manoeuvres.

The KSW46 retrieves line up to 6 times faster than a comparable winch, dramatically reducing the number of handle turns required. This results in quicker tacks, gybes and hoists, while maintaining better boat speed and reducing strain on both crew and sails.
