Updated for modern cockpit designs, this premium shock cord spraydeck delivers the perfect combination of durability, dryness, and performance for whitewater freestyle paddling. The burly 9.5 mm shock cord keeps it securely in place, while the seamless O-ring waist seal stays comfortably put. Nytex reinforcement on the rim adds abrasion resistance, and the three-quarter dry-lip helps keep water out even in turbulent conditions. Finished with sticky Gripsil on the cockpit lining for a secure hold, this deck is made for serious paddlers who demand reliability.

Getting the Right Fit
- Circumference: Measure around the cockpit under the lip to determine the total circumference.
- Length: Measure from the bow to stern at the longest point of the cockpit rim.
- Width: Measure across the widest point of the cockpit rim.
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist. Choose a smaller size for a tighter seal when paddling without a jacket, or a larger size for layering over thick clothing.
Cockpit Fit Tips
If your kayak sits at the upper end of a size range, consider the next deck size up. Cockpit shapes vary between brands—wide, short cockpits may use the same deck size as long, narrow ones. Use the largest measurement as your guide, or visit a dealer to try before you buy.
Fitting Your Spraydeck
Always ensure the release strap is outside the cockpit and easily accessible. Practice removing your spraydeck in controlled conditions to ensure you can release it quickly, even upside down.
A Tight Fit
A snug deck offers the best water seal but can be harder to fit. Simpler neoprene decks stretch more easily, while reinforced models (with Nytex, Gripsil, or rand panels) are tougher and tighter. Wetting neoprene before fitting can make it easier to stretch over the cockpit. Over time, neoprene loosens slightly, making future fittings easier.
