Gear changes are achieved simply by reversing the direction of rotation, with the winch automatically returning to first gear when the load is released for smooth, intuitive operation.

The KSW46 retrieves line up to 6 times faster than a comparable winch, significantly reducing the number of handle turns required. This allows for faster tacks, gybes and sail hoists, helping maintain boat speed while reducing effort. The self-tailing system eliminates the need to manually take up slack, making manoeuvres quicker, safer and more controlled.
