25mm stainless steel axle with plastic plug, used on all Optiparts Optimist trolleys.
Used to replace the existing aluminium ones that wear through over time.
Fitment
Tools:
- Hammer
- Flat head screw driver
- Drill & 5mm Metal bit
- Rivet Gun & 5mm rivets
Method:
- You will need a drill to drill out the rivet holding the existing axle in place
- The plastic stopper can be tapped out with a hammer and a flat headed screw driver
- The new axle is shorter that the old alloy ones, you will need to drill a hole and insert a rivet in to the trolley arm to create a stop for the axle end when inserted
- Insert a new screw or rivet in to the plastic to retain it in place once reassembled.
